Hailing from Waterloo/Cedar Falls Iowa, Matt knew at the age 13 of his call to ministry, he grew up in the church volunteering as a student leader at his church. After college he took on a role in leading a college ministry, and 9 months later transitioned into a youth/associate pastor role which he and his wife have served in for the last 14 years.
Matt came on staff in 2013 as the Assistant Pastor, and became the Lead Pastor in May of 2014. Married for 15 years Matt and his wife Nicole have four children: two girls, one boy and an english bulldog. When not serving in various capacities at the church, Matt loves spending time with his family watching movies and being outdoors.

Pastor Andrew joined the Open Bible staff in October of 2014 as the Pastor of Student Ministries. He grew up in the church, knowing at a young age he was called to full-time church ministry. He has worked in leadership roles with youth groups for over 10 years.
Andrew has been married for four years to his wife Victoria. They have a beautiful daughter, Emica, and a very rambunctious dog, Dragon. In their free time they enjoy playing music and can be seen playing various instruments for the church. When he gets the chance, he loves to be outdoors doing things like hiking, fishing, or camping.

Having been a member since 1999, Lisa joined the Open Bible Church staff in March 2009. Lisa and her husband, Greg, have three children: Anna, Ethan, and Jonah. Lisa attended Grace College of the Bible in Omaha, Nebraska.
Wendy joined the Open Bible staff in March 2009. She and her husband Jerry have attended the church since 2003 and enjoy serving on the video team and in children's ministry. Jerry and Wendy have two children, Tessa and Christopher.
Angie joined the Open Bible staff in October 2012, serving as our graphic designer. She, her husband Dave, and two children have attended the church since moving to Waverly in 2010.
